Deer is a Rare utility pet in Grow a Garden 2 that applies a flat 10% growth speed bonus to all crops planted in the owner garden. The bonus reduces grow times across every crop type simultaneously, making Deer useful during long grow sessions.
Deer costs 50,000 Sheckles or has a 4.29% wild spawn chance. Whether the 10% growth bonus stacks additively with sprinkler bonuses or applies as a separate multiplier is not yet documented. In Grow a Garden 1, Deer gave a 3% chance for berry plants to auto-replant on harvest — that mechanic does not exist in GAG 2. Rare rarity sits below Epic, Legendary, Mythic, and Super tiers.

Deer can rarely spawn with a pet mutation. Grow a Garden 2 has two pet mutations — Big Deer and Huge Deer — a rare appearance change that boosts the pet's effect. The Big mutation roughly doubles a pet's passive boost (for example a normal Bunny gives +5 speed, a Big Bunny +10), and Huge is even rarer. The exact spawn odds are very low and unconfirmed, and the exact Huge Deer values are TBA.
