Rain is the most common weather event in Grow a Garden 2. Rain doubles the growth speed of all plants on the entire server for 5 minutes. Every garden benefits simultaneously — not just your own. Crops that normally take 30 seconds take only 15 seconds during Rain, making it the best time to plant and harvest high-volume crops like Carrot and Strawberry.

Unlike Blood Moon or Lightning, Rain applies no mutation and carries no side effects — it is a pure growth speed bonus. Pairing Rain with Sprinkler gear stacks additional growth bonuses. How often Rain triggers relative to other GAG 2 weather events is not confirmed in-game.
