Grow A Garden 2 Guilds Guide

One of the biggest new core features in Grow a Garden 2 is Guilds, where players can team up, progress together, climb leaderboards, and earn exclusive rewards — building small communities within GAG 2. You can even earn rewards from it. If you're interested in creating or joining a guild, here's everything you need to know.

What are Grow A Garden 2 Guilds?

Guilds are groups managed by the NPC Gilbert. Guild leaders can invite other players and expand their guild's capacity by purchasing additional member slots. The guild system lets players stick together, farm under the same banner, play cooperatively, and compete in guild-exclusive competitions. While creating a guild costs Robux, joining one is free — meaning any player can join a guild through an invitation.

Guild member slots must be purchased in tiers. The price depends on the guild's current size:

GAG 2 Roles & Management

There are three different types of Guild roles:

Owner — the founder and able to invite new players and promote members.
Elder — like an officer, capable of inviting new players. You can only have five of these.
Member — normal status.

Editing a Guild

Only the Owner can edit a guild's name, tag, description, colors, and icon. Changing the guild name triggers a mandatory 7-day cooldown before it can be altered again.

Leaving & Disbanding

Any Member or Elder can voluntarily leave a guild at any time. The Owner cannot leave the guild directly; instead, they must choose to disband it, which permanently deletes the guild and removes all members.

How to Join a Guild in Grow A Garden 2

To join a guild in Grow A Garden 2, you need to be on a server with a player who already has a guild or serves as a guild Elder. That player can then invite you from the "My Guild" tab after selecting "View Guild" at the Guild Stand.

Once you receive an invitation, go to the mailbox outside your garden. Inside you'll find your guild invitation. Accept it to join the guild. Then head to the Guild Stand to view guild details, leaderboards, and more.

How to Create a Guild in Grow A Garden 2

You can speak to Gilbert at the Guild Stand in the center of the map to create a Guild for 99 Robux. You'll need to pick a name, a Tag, and then add a description. You can view and edit your Guild by speaking again with Gilbert.

Head to the central hub and find Gilbert, the NPC standing at the Guilds counter.
Enter a Guild Name, Guild Tag, and a short Description.
Use the finger button to pick custom colors for the guild.
Hit the 99 R$ button to confirm and pay for the guild creation.

Tips

The default number of members that can join a guild is 20, but you can pay to increase this number with additional Robux, with a maximum number of 50 Guild members.

How to Invite Others to Your Guild in Grow A Garden 2

Return to the Guild Stand, open the guild panel, and click "Invite". Select the player you want to add from the list. Note: the default member limit is limited. Getting more slots requires spending additional Robux.

GAG 2 Guild Competitions

Every week the game holds guild competitions where members can earn rewards by boosting guild points and ranking high. All guilds participate by default, and the guild with the most points wins.

Competitions are expected to use a "weekly challenge" format where guild members complete specific challenge types to earn points. In the first guild competition, members earned points based on the weight of harvested crops.

In this competition, points are calculated from each member's heaviest crop harvest, not total harvest volume. This means the easiest way to score highest is having more guild members — since each member contributes their best single crop.

All Guild Rewards

Each week, there is a Guild competition with a ranking. Points are earned from each member's heaviest crop, with one point per gram being given. The Guild's score is every member's best plant combined.
