Ice Serpent is a Super rarity pet in Grow a Garden 2 with two functions: it breathes frost on intruders to freeze them solid, and it applies the Frozen mutation to the owner's plants while equipped. This dual role makes Ice Serpent the most versatile high-end pet — it defends against thieves and boosts crops simultaneously.
At 20,000,000 Sheckles it is the most expensive shop pet in the game, with a 0% wild spawn chance making it shop-only by default. Ice Serpent is also awarded to top-ranking players in the guild leaderboard competition, providing an alternative earn path. Big Ice Serpent and Huge Ice Serpent variants spawn randomly on the map. Freeze duration, re-freeze cooldown, and whether multiple intruders can be frozen at once are not yet documented.

Is Ice Serpent good for defense?
Ice Serpent is a defender pet. Defender pets guard your garden during the night phase and during Blood Moon events. Ice Serpent provides automated protection without requiring the owner to be present.

Big and Huge Ice Serpent in GAG2
Ice Serpent can rarely spawn with a pet mutation. Grow a Garden 2 has two pet mutations — Big Ice Serpent and Huge Ice Serpent — a rare appearance change that boosts the pet's effect. The Big mutation roughly doubles a pet's passive boost (for example a normal Bunny gives +5 speed, a Big Bunny +10), and Huge is even rarer. The exact spawn odds are very low and unconfirmed, and the exact Huge Ice Serpent values are TBA.
