Overview
Frog is a Common rarity utility pet in Grow a Garden 2 that permanently boosts jump height by +5 while equipped. The jump bonus helps players clear fences when raiding other gardens during the night phase.
Frog costs 10,000 Sheckles and has an 11.9% wild spawn chance, making it one of the most accessible pets in the game. At Common rarity it is the easiest pet tier to find. Whether the +5 jump stacks additively with other movement bonuses or consumables such as Jump Mushrooms is not yet documented.
How to get the Frog pet
Frog hatches from the Common Egg. It can also be purchased for 10,000 Sheckles.
Is Frog good for utility?
Frog is a utility pet. Utility pets provide passive bonuses — to movement speed, growth rate, vision, or harvest automation — that benefit your daily farming routine.
Other utility pets in the database include Deer (Rare, 50,000 Sheckles), Owl (Uncommon, 25,000 Sheckles), Bunny (Common, 20,000 Sheckles), Golden Dragonfly (Mythic, 9,000,000 Sheckles), Monkey (Mythic, 1,000,000 Sheckles), Robin (Legendary, 75,000 Sheckles), and Unicorn (Mythic, 12,000,000 Sheckles).
Big and Huge Frog in GAG2
Frog can rarely spawn with a pet mutation. Grow a Garden 2 has two pet mutations — Big Frog and Huge Frog — a rare appearance change that boosts the pet's effect. The Big mutation roughly doubles a pet's passive boost (for example a normal Bunny gives +5 speed, a Big Bunny +10), and Huge is even rarer. The exact spawn odds are very low and unconfirmed, and the exact Huge Frog values are TBA.
