Overview
Bunny is a Common rarity utility pet in Grow a Garden 2 that gives a passive +5 walk speed bonus while equipped. The walk speed increase helps players move faster around the map during farming, raiding, and escape.
Bunny costs 20,000 Sheckles and has an 11.9% wild spawn chance. In Grow a Garden 1, Bunny ate a carrot at 1.5x its value every 40 seconds; that mechanic does not exist in GAG 2. Whether the +5 walk speed is a flat stat or a percentage, and whether it stacks with other movement bonuses, is not yet documented.
How to get the Bunny pet
Bunny hatches from the Common Egg. It can also be purchased for 20,000 Sheckles.
Is Bunny good for utility?
Bunny is a utility pet. Utility pets provide passive bonuses — to movement speed, growth rate, vision, or harvest automation — that benefit your daily farming routine.
Other utility pets in the database include Deer (Rare, 50,000 Sheckles), Frog (Common, 10,000 Sheckles), Owl (Uncommon, 25,000 Sheckles), Golden Dragonfly (Mythic, 9,000,000 Sheckles), Monkey (Mythic, 1,000,000 Sheckles), Robin (Legendary, 75,000 Sheckles), and Unicorn (Mythic, 12,000,000 Sheckles).
Big and Huge Bunny in GAG2
Bunny can rarely spawn with a pet mutation. Grow a Garden 2 has two pet mutations — Big Bunny and Huge Bunny — a rare appearance change that boosts the pet's effect. The Big mutation roughly doubles a pet's passive boost (for example a normal Bunny gives +5 speed, a Big Bunny +10), and Huge is even rarer. The exact spawn odds are very low and unconfirmed, and the exact Huge Bunny values are TBA.
