The Mega Egg is a Super-rarity egg in Grow a Garden 2. It shares the same 12-pet hatch pool and rates as the Common, Big, and Rainbow eggs, but every hatched pet is guaranteed to be a Huge variant — the strongest pet variant tier currently known in community data.
Mega Egg would hatch Huge Frog (30%), Huge Bunny (30%), Huge Owl (25%), Huge Deer (20%), Huge Turtle (17.5%), Huge Robin (4.5%), Huge Bee (4.5%), Huge Unicorn (0.3%), Huge Golden Dragonfly (0.3%), Huge Monkey (0.3%), Huge Bear (0.3%), and Huge Raccoon (0.2%). As of June 2026, the Mega Egg is not currently obtainable in-game and is listed as upcoming content. Price and source remain TBA.
Mega Egg vs Big Egg vs Rainbow Egg
All three variant eggs share the same 12 pets and hatch rates. The Big Egg guarantees Big variants with roughly doubled ability strength, the Rainbow Egg guarantees Rainbow variants with a 1.25x multiplier, and the Mega Egg guarantees Huge variants at the top of the variant tier list. Big and Rainbow are Mythic rarity; Mega Egg is Super rarity.
