Overview
Bear is a Mythic-rarity defender pet in GAG 2. It has a roughly 0.225% chance to spawn anywhere on the map, where it can be purchased for 5,000,000 Sheckles. It can also be hatched from an Epic Egg, with about a 9% chance.
As a defender, Bear protects your garden by tackling intruders, pinning them down, and then throwing them away, which makes it useful against players stealing during the night phase.

Is Bear good for defense?
Bear is a defender pet. Defender pets guard your garden during the night phase and during Blood Moon events. Bear provides automated protection without requiring the owner to be present.
Other defender pets in the database include Bee (Legendary, 1,000,000 Sheckles), Black Dragon (Super, 1,000,000 Sheckles), and Ice Serpent (Super, 20,000,000 Sheckles).
Big and Huge Bear in GAG2
Bear can rarely spawn with a pet mutation. Grow a Garden 2 has two pet mutations — Big Bear and Huge Bear — a rare appearance change that boosts the pet's effect. The Big mutation roughly doubles a pet's passive boost (for example a normal Bunny gives +5 speed, a Big Bunny +10), and Huge is even rarer. The exact spawn odds are very low and unconfirmed, and the exact Huge Bear values are TBA.
